GovtSchemesRegister is an independent, informational directory of Indian central and state government welfare schemes. It is not a government website, and it does not accept, submit, or process applications for any scheme listed here. Every scheme page links out to the relevant official government portal for the actual application process — that's where any application data you provide is handled, under that government department's own privacy terms, not ours.
The Contact page lets you send us a message — to report an inaccurate detail, suggest a scheme, or ask a question. When you submit that form, we collect only what you type into it: your name, your email address, the reason you selected, and your message. This is sent via Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, directly to our inbox as an email.
This site may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics (such as page-view counts) to understand which content is useful and where the site has gaps — the kind of aggregate, non-identifying usage data most websites collect. It does not use tracking cookies for advertising, and does not sell browsing data to advertisers or data brokers.
Every scheme page links to the relevant official government website so you can apply directly. Once you leave GovtSchemesRegister and land on a .gov.in page (or any other external site), that site's own privacy policy applies — we have no visibility into, or control over, what happens on those pages.
This site is intended for general informational use and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Significant changes will be reflected here directly — there's no separate notification list to manage, since this site doesn't collect emails for that purpose.
