A&N Islands Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board

Registration with the Andaman & Nicobar Islands construction workers' welfare board gives masons, labourers and other construction workers access to accident and death insurance, a pension, and education support for children, funded through a cess collected on construction projects across the islands.

What this scheme offers

Registration with the Andaman & Nicobar Islands construction workers' welfare board gives masons, labourers and other construction workers access to accident and death insurance, a pension, and education support for children — funded through a cess collected on construction projects across the islands, for a workforce that otherwise has almost no institutional safety net of its own.
