What this scheme offers
One of the six flagship 'Super Six' election guarantees, Deepam 2.0 gives women-headed households in Andhra Pradesh three free LPG cylinder refills a year, aimed at roughly 90 lakh families. The subsidy is credited directly to the connection holder's bank account via DBT after each refill, rather than requiring the household to pay upfront and wait for reimbursement — a genuinely running scheme, distinct from newer LPG promises elsewhere that are still only announced.
Who is eligible
- Woman-headed household in Andhra Pradesh with an existing LPG connection.
- Meets the income/ration-card criteria prescribed by the Civil Supplies Department.
- Connection registered in the eligible woman's name.

How to apply
- Ensure your LPG connection and Aadhaar are linked to your bank account.
- Check your eligibility status at your village/ward secretariat or the scheme's portal.
- Book your cylinder refill as usual through your gas agency.
- The subsidy for the refill is credited directly to your bank account via DBT after delivery.
- Contact your local secretariat if a refill's subsidy hasn't been credited within the expected timeframe.
