What this scheme offers
Launched to turn Bihar's educated unemployed into employers rather than job-seekers, this scheme funds a new small industrial unit almost entirely on the government's terms: half of the ₹10 lakh package is an outright subsidy that never has to be repaid, and the other half is an interest-free loan spread across 84 easy monthly instalments. It deliberately casts a wide net — SC, ST, EBC, minority, women and general-category youth are all eligible under one unified scheme rather than being split across separate caste-specific programmes, which keeps the rules and the portal simple for everyone.
