What this scheme offers
Named after Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, this scheme gives SC and ST families in Karnataka a construction grant for a pucca house, with the amount recognising that building costs vary sharply by location — a fixed rural rate wouldn't stretch as far in a coastal city or a hilly district, so the grant scales from ₹1.5 lakh to ₹3 lakh depending on where the house is being built.
