What this scheme offers
Rather than running separate old-age, widow, and disability pension schemes with their own eligibility processes, Madhya Pradesh consolidates all three under one Social Security Pension umbrella — a single ₹600 monthly amount, paid quarterly as ₹1,800, reaching over 53 lakh beneficiaries across the state. The amount is modest compared to some other states' pensions, but the unified structure means one application process and one eligibility list covers everyone the scheme is meant to reach.
