What this scheme offers
Farming carries a real physical risk that doesn't show up in most agricultural schemes focused on income or credit — machinery accidents, electrocution near pumps, snakebite in the field, and similar. Kisan Sathi Yojana addresses that gap directly: if a Rajasthan farmer dies in an accident, their family receives ₹5 lakh, with proportionate compensation for disability, giving a household some financial cushion against the loss of its primary earner in an occupation where the risk is genuinely physical rather than just financial.
