What this scheme offers
Launched in July 2025 on the third anniversary of Naan Mudhalvan, Vetri Nichayam ('Assured Success') covers the young people Naan Mudhalvan misses: those who left school or college without finishing. Youth aged 18–35 can take free short-term training in any of 165+ courses across 38 sectors — construction, IT, healthcare, fashion, hospitality and more — at 500+ centres statewide, with placement support at the end. Eligible trainees receive a ₹12,000 incentive, and those from distant areas get free hostel and food. There's a particular focus on tribal youth, persons with disabilities, minorities and Sri Lankan Tamil refugees, plus foreign-language training (such as German) for overseas jobs.
