What this scheme offers
Rythu Bharosa pays landowning farmers per acre, which leaves out a genuinely large group: the landless labourers who actually work those fields for a wage and share none of the land ownership. Indiramma Aatmeeya Bharosa was announced alongside Rythu Bharosa in January 2025 specifically to close that gap, paying ₹12,000 a year to landless agricultural labourer families in Telangana — support tied to the work itself rather than land title, which is the more common (and more restrictive) basis most farm-support schemes use.
