What this scheme offers
Most self-employment schemes for backward-class entrepreneurs top out at a few lakh rupees — enough for a very small enterprise, but not enough to actually create jobs beyond the owner. T-PRIDE (Telangana Pradesh Incentives for Development and Empowerment) is built for a bigger ambition: up to ₹25 lakh for a Backward Class entrepreneur starting a new enterprise, with 35% of that as an outright subsidy that never has to be repaid, and the remainder as an interest-free loan — a genuinely substantial amount aimed at businesses that can grow and hire, not just self-employ.
