What this scheme offers
Registration with Delhi's construction workers' welfare board opens one of the more detailed benefit schedules among Indian state boards — a ₹3,000 monthly pension after age 60 (rising ₹300 for every year of membership beyond 5), ₹51,000 for a registered female member's own marriage, a ₹30,000 maternity benefit for up to two children, medical assistance up to ₹10,000 for hospitalisation of 5+ days, and accident-death compensation of ₹2 lakh (₹1 lakh for normal death), plus a disability pension of ₹3,000/month with a ₹1 lakh ex-gratia payment for permanent disability. It's funded through a cess collected on construction projects across Delhi.
