What this scheme offers
Named after Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana addresses a familiar problem in a genuinely expensive city: a Delhi student from an SC, ST or economically weaker background might well have what it takes to clear a civil-services, engineering, medical or banking entrance exam, but private coaching in the capital costs more than many families can absorb. The scheme places selected students in coaching at empanelled institutes at no cost and adds a ₹2,500 monthly stipend, recognising that free tuition alone doesn't help if a student can't afford to actually live and study through the preparation period.
