Mukhyamantri Yuva Pratibha Protsahan Yojana (EWS Civil Service Component)

Financial assistance for economically weaker Haryana candidates who've cleared the preliminary stage of UPSC, Haryana Public Service Commission, or judicial service exams, meant to fund the genuinely expensive Mains-Interview preparation cycle. Announced 8 April 2026, the support is income-graded — ₹70,000 for family income up to ₹1 lakh a year, ₹60,000 up to ₹1.80 lakh, ₹50,000 for ₹1.80-3 lakh, with lower amounts for the ₹3-5 lakh bracket — so the poorest qualifying candidates get the most support.

What this scheme offers

Clearing the preliminary stage of the UPSC civil services exam, or its Haryana equivalents, is a genuine achievement — but it's also exactly the point where the real financial pressure of serious exam preparation begins, since the Mains and Interview stages typically require months of intensive coaching that costs real money. Announced 8 April 2026 at a felicitation event for Haryana's own UPSC-qualified candidates, this scheme is deliberately income-graded rather than a flat amount — ₹70,000 for the poorest qualifying candidates (family income up to ₹1 lakh), stepping down to ₹60,000, ₹50,000 and lower amounts as family income rises through ₹1.80 lakh, ₹3 lakh and ₹5 lakh brackets — so the support scales with actual need rather than treating every qualified candidate identically.
