What this scheme offers
ePASS (Electronic Payment and Application System for Scholarships) is Karnataka's unified digital front door to its scholarship system for SC, ST, backward-class, minority and PWD students — rather than navigating separate departments and paper processes for each category, students register once and apply through a single portal. Depending on the course and category, support ranges from tuition-fee reimbursement and free hostel accommodation up to a maintenance allowance that can run into several lakh a year for professional courses, with amounts scaling from a few thousand rupees for school-level support to substantially more for medical, engineering and postgraduate study.
