What this scheme offers
As one of India's largest wheat and soybean producing states, Madhya Pradesh runs its procurement operation through a single digital system: e-Uparjan. Farmers register on the portal, receive a token/slot for a procurement centre visit, and are guaranteed the Minimum Support Price for their wheat, paddy or soybean rather than being left to whatever a private buyer offers that week — with payment landing directly in the farmer's bank account via DBT once the produce is procured and verified.
Who is eligible
- Farmer with cultivable land in Madhya Pradesh growing wheat, paddy, or soybean.
- Registered on the e-Uparjan portal for the relevant procurement season (Rabi/Kharif).
