What this scheme offers
Following the pattern several states have adopted since PM-KISAN launched, Madhya Pradesh adds its own state contribution on top of the central ₹6,000/year, paid automatically to farmers already registered under PM-KISAN — no separate application needed. Exact figures for the state top-up are reported inconsistently across sources (some say ₹4,000/year in two instalments, others say ₹6,000/year in three), which likely reflects a revision at some point that not every source has caught up with — confirm the current amount directly on the SAARA portal before relying on a specific number.
Who is eligible
- Already registered as a beneficiary under central PM-KISAN.
- Permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh with cultivable agricultural land.
- Aadhaar-linked, active bank account (same one used for PM-KISAN).
Documents required
- PM-KISAN registration/beneficiary ID
- Aadhaar card
- Land records
- Bank account details (Aadhaar-linked)
How to apply
- No separate application in most cases — if you're an active PM-KISAN beneficiary in Madhya Pradesh, the state top-up is applied automatically.
- If you're not yet a PM-KISAN beneficiary, register first at pmkisan.gov.in — MP eligibility follows once PM-KISAN approves you.
- Check your payment status and the current top-up amount at saara.mp.gov.in.
- Report any missed instalment to your local Agriculture Department office (Krishi Vibhag) with your PM-KISAN ID.
