What this scheme offers
Launched in 2023 on the same lines as PM-KISAN, Namo Shetkari exists to answer a simple complaint from farmers: ₹6,000 a year from the centre doesn't stretch far enough against rising input costs. Every farmer family already enrolled in and receiving PM-KISAN is automatically eligible — there's no separate registration, no new form, no additional portal. The state simply adds its own ₹6,000/year, paid in the same three instalments as the central scheme, into the same Aadhaar-linked bank account. Over 90 lakh Maharashtra farmer families now receive a combined ₹12,000/year in direct income support between the two schemes together.

How to apply
- No separate application is needed — if you're already a PM-KISAN beneficiary, you're automatically enrolled.
- If you're not yet a PM-KISAN beneficiary, register for PM-KISAN first at pmkisan.gov.in; Namo Shetkari eligibility follows automatically once PM-KISAN approves you.

- For any issue with a missed instalment, contact your District Agriculture Officer (Krishi Adhikari).
