What this scheme offers
Registration with Telangana's construction workers' welfare board — funded through a cess collected on building projects statewide — gives masons, labourers, electricians and other construction trades access to ₹5 lakh accident insurance and a ₹1,000 monthly pension from a qualifying age, plus education support and other benefits for an unorganised workforce that otherwise has almost no institutional safety net.

- Worked a minimum number of days in construction in the preceding period, as prescribed by the Board.
