UP Berojgari Bhatta Yojana (Sewayojan)

A monthly unemployment allowance for educated, registered job-seekers in Uttar Pradesh, paid through the Sewayojan employment exchange portal until they find work.

What this scheme offers

Run through the Sewayojan portal — Uttar Pradesh's official employment exchange since 2015 — this scheme pays educated, registered job-seekers a monthly allowance while they look for work, alongside genuine job-matching support: SMS alerts for openings, invitations to Rojgar Mela job fairs held across all 75 districts, and placement assistance. It's meant as a bridge, not a destination — the allowance stops the moment you report finding employment.

  • Passed at least Class 10.
  • Age between 18 and 35 years.
  • Currently unemployed — not employed in any government or private organisation.
  • Family annual income does not exceed ₹3,00,000.
  • Registered on the Sewayojan Employment Exchange Portal.
