What this scheme offers
Haryana pays eligible persons with disabilities ₹3,200 a month under the Haryana Divyang Pension Rules 2025, up from ₹3,000 (January 2024) and ₹2,750 (April 2023). The pension is meant for those whose disability limits their ability to earn, which is why it carries both a disability threshold of 60% and an income test linked to the minimum wage of an unskilled worker. For people with haemophilia, thalassemia or sickle cell anaemia there is no age limit and the income ceiling is ₹3 lakh a year.
Who is eligible
- Aged 18 years or above, domiciled in Haryana and living in the state for three years at the time of applying.
- Disability of 60% or more, as certified in the prescribed form (see the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act categories).
- The applicant's own annual income from all sources must not exceed the minimum wage of an unskilled worker as notified by the Labour Department; the pension stops if it rises above this.
- For haemophilia, thalassemia and sickle cell anaemia: no age limit, and own income up to ₹3 lakh a year.
