Tamizh Pudhalvan Scheme

The boys' counterpart of Pudhumai Penn: ₹1,000 a month for boys who studied in Tamil Nadu government schools from Class 6 to 12 and continue into higher education, until they complete the course.

What this scheme offers

Introduced in 2024 after Pudhumai Penn showed results for girls, Tamizh Pudhalvan extends the same support to boys: ₹1,000 a month for students who studied in Tamil Nadu government schools from Class 6 to 12 and go on to higher education.
